We worked with Simon Ellis Landscape Architecture on this park, which was our very first job at Relume Consulting. Located in a corner of Richmond in inner city Melbourne that is crying out for public space, this pocket park is a great place to while away an evening over a game of chess on the big table or a barbeque, with a few herbs from the edible garden.

The lighting is tucked up into the parasols designed by the clever people at Futago.  Integrating the lighting into the parasols and using the inside of each parasol as a reflector creates a glare-free and visually comfortable environment.

The luminaires are surprisingly powerful little LEDs from Planet Lighting, their handrail product which can be used for more than just handrails.Total power consumption of the lighting is in the order of 50 watts.
